Before Don rolled through and churned things up we were 4 for 4 on big ling with the largest weighing in near 60 lbs, all sight-casted with squid.  Schools of mahi made several appearances to send the client and crew into frenzy, and of course nice kings all over our trolled baits. After Don so far fish seem to be scattered and the nearshore water milky green, water clearing up out 30 miles.  Offshore, schools of blackfin tuna can be chummed up near the shrimpboats, and rocks.  Amberjack has finally opened back up and we’re gearing up heavier tackle to battle some of these brutes.
