Call Representative Blake Farenthold to thank him for his Amendment No. 24 to H.R. 2584 which provides that the Park can’t use any of its funding from Congress to issue a preliminary or final rule, or take any other action, to reduce the legal speed limit at the Park from 25 mph.

Citizens for Access and Conservation have previously provided him with its response to the Park’s EA reflecting that the proposed speed limit reduction from 25 mph to 15 mph at the beach is not justified.  The City of Corpus Christi and the General Land Office have notified the Park that they support CAC’s Alternative 5.
