I was on the beach this morning and water clarity was not too bad. Little bit of weed started to show up which is early. This unseasonably hot weather is starting to worry me a bit as we had a bad Red Tide episode at the end of last year and it needs a good cold spell to make sure it is gone. On Tuesdays found a couple of dead cormorants which I reported to Tony Amos, he informed me he had found over 80 the last few days. They were caring out test and hoping it was not the Red Tide that was killing them. Now for the good bit, John Byrley has been fishing PINS on the North end and landing Red and Black Drum, Whiting and Pompano in good numbers. The bite is on, so go get em. Regards Nickaway
