Congratulations Will Nash, current USA Casting Champion

We at Breakaway are over the moon with the new record cast by Will Nash.  Using a Breakaway AAA rod and casting a 150gram sinker using .31mm running line, Will achieved a  distance of 861ft. The tournament was being put on by Shore Fishing and Casting Club in Kingsville, Texas. Weather conditions were good with following winds but extreme 100 degree heat. The new record passed the old record by approximately 1 ft which was held by our good friend Tommy Farmer from the east coast.  Tommy and Will are good friends and really good for the sport of long casting in the USA.

Again, congratulations Will on a great cast and thanks for using the Breakaway AAA.
