About a month ago I built Chris an offshore rod for fighting the big stuff and he wanted to tell me that he fought a big Hammer Head on it and how well it help together.  Here is a picture of Chris taking a rest using the Breakaway offshore rod and Avet reel. They got the Hammer to the boat and released it.

Chris also caught a big old Warsaw Grouper and a great picture of how to hold one of them. The fish is nearly as big as him.

Also landed were Amber Jack and Snapper:

They spent the night at sea and said they did see some big weed beds heading out way and tons of bait. When this wind drops I think the game will be on.
