Back into a windy few days just when it was starting to be fun.  The fishing has been great over the last few days but today the sky’s are overcast and the wind is kicking form the SE at about 25 plus. The weed beds are coming in and the combination of wind and weed make it very tough to fish the surf. Packery channel side looked like it should produce some good Reds and the best bet for fish. Pelicans were working over baits in the channel this morning.

Here are some pictures of fish from the last few days

Robert Arnold picked up some great Trout on lures on the National Seashore. Robert is a great Trout fisherman and it looks like the Trout are going to give him a good year.

Bob “Tarpon” Bennett proved his salt by landing two of these beautiful silver bullets (Tarpon) on the same day from Packery using small lures and a light spinning rod. I watched Bob land one and it really was some great fishing.

Current conditions: Wind SE 25 plus Fresh weed beds coming in and dead stuff washing along.  Water clarity 4 Driving 4
