Hi Nick, my name is Alfonso Medina Landeros. I live in Guadalajara, Jalisco, last year I bought two of your Omega 10-6s rods. This summer we got the chance (me and my father) to go to two fishing trips, here in the coasts of Jalisco and Nayarit. The technique we usually use is surf fishing, so we fish for rooster, jacks, monster needlefish, pacific sierra, snooks and snappers. The reel I use is a Daiwa Saltist 6500H with 50lb Power Pro braided line and obviously my fishing rod is an Omega 10-6s. The performance of your rod was awesome, we were fishing like 8 days, non-stop.I cast all types of lures under the 2oz weight (spoons, rangers, mirrolures, x-raps), also I reach amazing distances with your rod. The retrieving was smooth and without fatigue, my arms and my back didn’t hurt at the end of fishing trips. In the first fishing trip, I fished 30 Jacks, 3 Snook’s, 2 Snappers, 5 sierras, 1 Lady fish and 1 Needlefish.In the second trip, I fished 1 monster Needle fish, 6 Jacks and 1 Rooster fish.

So like we say here in Mexico “Una imagen dice mas que mil palabras”, I want to share we you some pictures of the trips and the fish we caught.

The weight of the three Snook’s was between 1.8 to 2.5 kgs, the monster needlefish weight was 5 kgs, the rooster fish was 7 kgs and the jacks were between 1 kg to 5 kgs.
