Many of the rig builders will remember building rigs with the Breakaway Split Oval. It was a super tough clip because of the double wire design. This was the clip that was approved for casting by Joe Moore and Sportcast USA.

The problem with the clip was it was a nail breaker, tough as heck to get the sinkers  off and on unless you had tough nails or could push it between the double wires. We loved the design and have improved on it, making it tear- drop shaped and with a weedless tag that makes it a breeze to get on and off. We are making it in two sizes, SOL for Speed Oval Large and SOS for Speed Oval Small. Both are super strong and will be great for the tournament casters and fishermen who want the security of a tough, weedless connection.
