I got this great E mail from Joe Gibson a customer and friend who loves to use Breakaway surf fishing techniques to catch those large Tennessee cats. This is his E mail:

I caught this 49lb flathead catfish using a Breakaway HDX teamed up with an Akios 656 shuttle that was provided by breakaway tackle.

I caught that in the cumberland river, Tennessee near Cumberland City. I tell you what, I out fish any one on the bank with me because I can reach where the fish are.

Surf tackle and techniques are the most effective means of having an exciting night on the river:)
